Palace of Westminster

The Palace of Westminster sought Barker Langham’s support to help plan new ways of engaging visitors following the on-going restoration of the building.

I co-led the project, shaping strategic thinking around two problems.

The first of these was participation in democracy and the question of how new visitor facilities might support and encourage young people in particular to become more politically active.

The second key issue was mass visitation, with the Palace team seeking support to envision and plan for a future following re-opening when it might easily attract an audience in excess of 10,000,000 visitors each year.
