New science centre
From 2019-22 I led research and content development for a new science museum in the Gulf, expected to open in 2026.
As well as researching and shaping every single story the new museum will tell, I also played a large part in exhibit development, working in close partnership with designers at RAA.
The project is vast in scale. Overall, I developed detailed interpretation and content briefs for ten permanent galleries and nine themed gardens, covering subject matter ranging from human genetics, to desert ecology, climate change, food systems, coral reefs, the future of AI, and the status of the modern broiler chicken as a harbinger of the anthropocene.
Iām not a scientist by training, so the greatest thrill and honour of this project was being given a free hand to identify and consult with more than 80 scientists of global standing.
